Overview
Opened in 1980 as Fairway Oaks and designed by Ron Garl with Charles Coody, this par-72 layout stretches past 7,100 yards from the back tees and is lined with more than 6,000 trees. It hosted the PGA Tour's Southwest Classic during the 1980s and is now the South Course of Abilene Country Club, with TifSport Bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens.
