Privacy

What we collect. If you create an account: your email, username, optional name, handicap and driver distance, the courses you save, reviews and condition reports you post, and the rounds you score. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes.

Location. When you tap "near me" or turn on GPS in the scorecard, your device location is used in your browser to find nearby courses and calculate yardages. Location searches are sent to OpenStreetMap's geocoder and Open-Meteo for weather; we do not store your GPS position.

Hotel maps. Course pages may show a hotel map from Stay22. It loads from Stay22's servers when you scroll to it, and Stay22 and the booking sites it links to may set their own cookies to credit bookings. See Stay22's privacy policy for details.

Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and local storage on your device to remember preferences (compare list, map view) and to hold scores while you're offline. If advertising or analytics are enabled, Google and other partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads; see how Google uses data.

Your choices. You can edit or delete your account at any time from My Account. Questions: the site owner.

Terms of use

Course information, fees, weather and hole strategy are provided for general guidance and may be incomplete or out of date — confirm details with the course. Distances from maps and GPS are estimates; follow course rules on distance-measuring devices in competition. Betting features are for friendly games; you are responsible for complying with local laws. Don't post content you don't have the right to share, or that is abusive or misleading. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms.
