Bay Forest Golf Course

Overview

City of La Porte municipal course opened in 1988 to a Jay Riviere design, set among mature trees with bayou-fed waterways running through the property near Galveston Bay. The par-72 layout plays to roughly 6,800 yards from the blue tees and has been cited by the Dallas Morning News among the better municipal courses in Texas. A driving range, teaching pro and the Bay Forest Grill round out the facility.
