Overview
The South Course is the longer and more demanding of MacDill Air Force Base's two 18-hole layouts, a Ron Garl design that stretches to about 6,770 yards with a back nine holding three par 5s. Play is open to anyone, but visitors without base access must request a base access form in advance; 2026-27 daily rates range from $12 walking (E1-E4) to $56 riding for civilians. The complex has a covered Toptracer range, the 8 Iron Grill and the Tees & Taps bar.
