Overview
BraeBurn was founded in 1926 as Colonial Country Club and renamed in 1931. It is a John Bredemus design in southwest Houston near Bellaire and has been renovated several times since. Jimmy Demaret was the head professional when he won the 1940 Masters, and the club caps equity membership at 500 so the course stays uncrowded.
