Canyon Oaks Country Club

Overview

A private Jim Summers layout from 1989 in the foothills of east Chico, routed largely over the natural terrain. The club bills it as a links-style course, but mature oaks, deep rough, elevation changes and water features shape play, and a 149 slope from the back tees makes it one of the area's toughest. Members have an active men's and women's association schedule plus member-guest events.
