Overview
Cypress Creek is the original course at Champions Golf Club, the private north Houston club founded by Jack Burke Jr. and Jimmy Demaret; Ralph Plummer's design opened in 1959 and Chet Williams renovated it in 2018. Long par 4s and tree-lined corridors run through the bottomland along Cypress Creek. It has hosted the 1967 Ryder Cup, the 1969 U.S. Open, five Tour Championships and the 2020 U.S. Women's Open.
