Overview
Alister MacKenzie's 1929 masterpiece, built with Robert Hunter, moves from Del Monte Forest pines into sand dunes before finishing along the rocky Pacific shoreline. Its famous par-3 16th demands a carry of roughly 230 yards over ocean surf. The very exclusive club has about 250 members and was part of the Crosby/AT&T Pro-Am rotation until 1990.
