Overview
The old Quicksand course in Woodcreek has been reborn as Double J Ranch after owners Joe and Jen Gambino bought it in 2023 and rerouted the holes, regrassed greens and tees with paspalum and rebuilt every bunker with white sand. Modest in length, it earns its reputation through tight, tree-lined Hill Country fairways that punish wayward drives. A new clubhouse and event center is part of the ongoing makeover.
