Gus Wortham Park Golf Course

Overview

Billed as Texas' oldest existing 18-hole layout, this East End course began life as the Houston Country Club's home in 1908. A Houston Golf Association-led renovation restored the old parkland routing, which includes an unusual run of three consecutive par 5s early in the front nine. Walk-friendly rates make it one of the city's best-value historic rounds.
