Hillcrest Golf & Country Club

Overview

Hillcrest is a private club in north Lubbock, founded in the early 1950s with a course by Warren Cantrell and later work by Ralph Plummer. The par-72 layout crosses rocky ground cut by gullies, and the regional wind makes its long uphill par 5s play tough. A member-investor group has owned the club since 2017, and it still hosts charity events, including one in October 2025.
