Overview
The city-owned Players Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort is John Fought's 2007 reworking of an older Ted Robinson layout, with bold bunkering and contoured fairways inspired by classic MacKenzie-era designs. Mature trees frame the holes and the round is backed by views of the San Jacinto, Santa Rosa and San Bernardino ranges. It plays over 7,300 yards from the Cabernet tees and shares the resort's academy and Kestrel restaurant with the sister Celebrity Course.
