Jay & Lionel Hebert Municipal Golf Course

Overview

Known locally as "Muni," this is Lafayette's oldest public course, built in 1926 and named for PGA Championship-winning brothers Jay and Lionel Hebert. The city-run par-72 layout plays a modest 6,400 yards from the tips and was renovated in 2010 with new cart paths and improved turf. It celebrated its centennial in 2026 and remains a hub for junior, high school and city championship golf.
