Les Vieux Chenes is a municipal course in Youngsville, just south of Lafayette, designed by Dr. Marvin Ferguson and opened in 1977, with a renovation in 2009. The par-72 layout reaches about 6,800 yards and is mostly flat, with water on many holes and relatively few bunkers. A driving range, golf shop with PGA professionals and a bar and grill round out the facility.
