Lockhart State Park Golf Course

Overview

Built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps inside Lockhart State Park, this nine-holer is one of the best bargains in Texas golf. Wide-open fairways with no bunkers roll over the park's hills, with creek water in play on a few holes and a tree-guarded green on the downhill-uphill par-4 3rd. Club and cart rentals are available at park headquarters.
