Overview
Built by the City of Lake Charles near Chennault and opened in October 2021 on the site of the former Mallard Cove course, Mallard Golf Club is a Jeff Blume design that Golf Digest named among America's Best New Courses for 2022. It stretches to 7,181 yards with five tee sets, and water comes into play frequently on the flat, open lowland site. Southwest Louisiana's only lighted night range, a golf shop and the Mallard Bar & Grille round out the facility.
