Marfa Municipal Golf Course

Overview

Billed as the highest golf course in Texas at about 4,882 feet, this nine-hole Presidio County course offers wide, firm fairways where shots fly and roll farther in the thin air. The county defunded the course in August 2025, but officials said it would remain an accessible public asset with local golfers maintaining it on a volunteer basis, so call or check locally before visiting.
