Overview

Abilene's municipal course has been in play since 1934, when it was laid out by Dave Bennett, and it plays to par 71 at a little over 6,200 yards from the back. It is a budget-friendly public option with Bermuda greens, a driving range and teaching professionals on site.

⏰ Best times to play: Summer afternoons in West-Central Texas are very hot and often windy; early morning tee times are the most comfortable from June through September, while spring and fall offer the best conditions. It is an affordable municipal option, so weekend mornings fill up first.
