O'Donnell Golf Club

Overview

Palm Springs' oldest golf course, a nine-hole layout built by oil man Thomas O'Donnell in the 1920s at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains next to downtown. The land belongs to the City of Palm Springs and is leased to a private, members-only club of about 250 members. The course was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
