Palo Duro Creek Golf Course

Overview

Palo Duro Creek is a daily-fee 18-hole course in Canyon, about ten minutes south of Amarillo, laid out by Henry Hughes in 1959. The front nine has narrow fairways lined by out-of-bounds, while the creek brings water into play on much of the back nine, and the greens are bentgrass. Annual permits, weekly scrambles and couples nights run alongside public play.
