Placid Lakes Country Club

Overview

An 18-hole, par-72 layout dating to 1970 in the Placid Lakes community southwest of Lake Placid in Highlands County. From the black tees it stretches past 6,900 yards with four par 5s, including two over 560 yards, making it longer than most courses in the area. Its former club website domain has lapsed, and recent golfer reviews (April 2025) describe uneven conditions, so call ahead before visiting.
