Overview
The Ocean Course is a 1928 Herbert Strong design beside the Atlantic at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, and its par-3 9th is often credited as the first island green. Bobby Weed's 2020 renovation lowered greens, added a new par-3 13th, lengthened the par-5 14th and enlarged the lagoon at 17, leaving a par-71 layout. Sea breezes and small, elevated greens are its main defenses.
