Riverside Golf Course (18)

Overview

Riverside is a city-owned Alamo City Golf Trail course about four miles south of downtown, where the San Antonio River separates a tight, pecan- and oak-lined front nine from a more open back nine with more scoring chances. A 13-month restoration by architect Jeff Blume rebuilt greens, bunkers, drainage and tees and reopened the course in January 2024, converting the 16th to a par 4 and the 17th from a par 3 to a par 4. The site also has a separate nine-hole par-3 course, The Teddy Bear, and offers hitting nets rather than a full driving range.
