Overview

Rockwood is a 1938 John Bredemus course along the Trinity River just northwest of downtown Fort Worth, and a $5.1 million Colligan Golf Design renovation completed in 2017 gave it a new routing, greens and bunkers. It quickly became one of the busiest municipal courses in the area, and a short River's Edge practice loop and the Rockwood Grille are on site.

⏰ Best times to play: Mid-day and evening rates are much cheaper than morning rates, and seniors (62+) save on weekdays. Summer afternoons regularly top 95°F, so book early-morning tee times June–September; spring (March–May) and fall (October–November) offer the best conditions.
