Overview
Rustic Canyon is a minimalist, wide-fairway layout set in Happy Camp Canyon north of Moorpark, built with little earth moving by Gil Hanse and Geoff Shackelford. Native sage and grasses frame firm, rumpled fairways and creative bunkering, and it regularly appears on national lists of top public-access courses. All tee times are booked online, and an electric cart with GPS is an optional $20 add-on.
