Overview
City-owned 18-hole, par-72 course laid out in 1939 by Texas golf pioneer John Bredemus through a pecan grove on the north bank of the Guadalupe River in Max Starcke Park. After a full renovation by Ross Golf Design with Nathan Crace and Todd Quitno (closed October 2024, reopened late May 2026), it has new TifTuf Bermuda fairways and tees, enlarged Platinum Paspalum greens, rebuilt bunkers and an expanded practice range. Green fees ($33 weekday / $37 weekend adult) are walking rates; an 18-hole cart is $17 extra.
