Overview
The Bear is one of two 18-hole courses at The Forest Country Club, a private club set within a large nature preserve in south Fort Myers. Originally laid out by Gordon G. Lewis in 1980, it reopened after a complete redesign in 2025 and now stretches to about 7,000 yards from the Gold tees with a 144 slope. Ten tee combinations bring it down to roughly 4,300 yards.
