Overview
Palmer Legends is a 27-hole championship facility with the Cherry Hill, Laurel Valley and Riley Grove nines (par 36 each), stretching beyond 7,000 yards from the black tees (the club cites about 7,180) and rated among the stiffest tests in The Villages (74.5/134 from the black tees on Cherry Hill/Laurel Valley). Several holes skirt a large dry-prairie nature preserve while others look out over Lake Sumter and Lake Sumter Landing, with water, demanding bunkers and rolling ground throughout; the site also hosts The Villages Golf Academy and extensive short-game practice areas. Play at The Villages championship courses is reserved for residents and their guests (plus visitors on Villages vacation/preview stays), with tee times booked through The Villages tee-time system. Par-hole counts cover all 27 holes.
