The Villages – Tierra Del Sol Country Club

Overview

Tierra Del Sol is billed as one of the toughest 18-hole layouts in The Villages, stretching to about 6,900 yards with a long, heavily bunkered and fairly open front nine (Ponce de Leon). The back nine (Hernando de Soto) is more natural, with nature preserves in play on eight holes and big oaks framing several fairways; warm-up is limited to a hitting net plus chipping and putting greens. Play at The Villages championship courses is reserved for residents and their guests (plus visitors on Villages vacation/preview stays), with tee times booked through The Villages tee-time system.
