Overview
Opened in 1951, Thunderbird was the Coachella Valley's first 18-hole country club and helped define the desert resort lifestyle; its back tees are still named for the 1955 Ryder Cup it hosted. The par-71 layout has been reworked over the decades, most recently by Tripp Davis in 2022, and the private club also offers dining, tennis, pickleball and wellness facilities.
