Virginia Country Club

Overview

Virginia Country Club is a long-established private club in Long Beach's Bixby Knolls area, with a par-71 layout of roughly 6,600 yards from the tips. The routing makes clever use of a canyon that winds through the property, giving an otherwise urban site real topographic interest. Golf Digest credits William P. Bell with the design, with later changes by Robert Muir Graves and Edward B. Dearie Jr.
