Overview
A Perry Maxwell design from 1950, Riverside was the second home of Austin Country Club, where Harvey Penick taught Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw. Today it is an affordable public course five minutes from downtown, with mature trees and a classic, compact routing. Conditions get mixed reviews, but the history and the price are hard to beat.
