Overview
Founded in 1899 as the original home of Austin Country Club, Hancock is billed as the oldest continuously operating course in Texas and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The nine-hole, walking-only layout plays over and around Waller Creek with small greens and some surprising elevation change. There is no pro shop or cart fleet, just a pay station at the first tee and a neighborhood feel.
