Overview

Tenison Highlands is the championship 18 at East Dallas's 36-hole Tenison Park, redesigned by D.A. Weibring and Steve Wolfard and stretching past 7,000 yards over rolling, tree-lined ground along White Rock Creek. Its sister course, Tenison Glen, was Dallas's first municipally owned course, and the facility has a big range and short-game area.

⏰ Best times to play: Twilight and sundown rates cut the price substantially, and seniors (60+) play for much less on weekdays. Summer afternoons regularly top 95°F, so book early-morning tee times June–September; spring (March–May) and fall (October–November) offer the best conditions.
