Overview
Founder Corby Robertson Jr.'s private retreat on the headwaters of Lake Livingston, designed by Chet Williams of Nicklaus Design and ranked No. 1 in Texas and No. 66 in America's 100 Greatest by Golf Digest (2025-26). Sandy waste areas, strategic bunkering and undulating greens lead to a closing six-hole stretch along Caney Creek, with an island green at the 15th. A Williams renovation completed in 2020 rebuilt the greens with TifEagle and regrassed fairways in Zeon zoysia; a nine-hole course called The Needler is also on site.
