Overview
The Needler is a nine-hole short course at Whispering Pines, the private club in the Piney Woods about 90 minutes north of Houston, built in 2013 as a companion to the club's championship 18. Eight holes play at par-3 length and the 308-yard fourth is a drivable par 4, with elevated greens, hazards and tee boxes set all around each green for varied angles.
